ALICEVILLE – Glendon Euzelle Whitley, age 63, passed away November 8, 2021 at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2021 in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Whitley was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Euzelle Whitley; and infant brother, David Anthony Whitley.
He is survived by his sister, Janetta Whitley; brothers, Timmy Whitley and Reginald Whitley; and cousins, Becky Jones, Barbara Langford, Deroma Hewett, Skipper Nelson, and Kenneth Nelson.
Glen was a Tuscaloosa High School Black Bear and graduate of Shelton State. He loved music, was a drum player, and inspired his brother, Tim, to pursue music. He was active in the church, especially the South Highland Youth Basketball. Glen loved to read about science and psychology. He was a kind and loving man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Pallbearers will be Skipper Nelson, Doug Nelson, Kenny Nelson, Billy Hewett, and Allen Langford.
Honorary pallbearers are the employees of Aliceville Manor Nursing Home.
