In retirement, Gail continued to be involved in her church (Cottondale Church of the Nazarene) and her community. She was active in Children’s Ministries and often wrote and directed many Christmas plays and VBS for her church. Gail also loved volunteering at local schools.
In 2009, Gail served as Ms. Senior Tuscaloosa at Focus on Senior Citizens.
Serving as Active Pallbearers will be: Bobby Taylor, Todd West, Dewayne Richardson, Steve
Jennings, Marvin James, Tim Morrison, Hunter West and John Hicks.
With Wayne Barger, Kenny Frye, Scott Manderson, Jessie James, Gary Jennings, and David West, former employees of ACCU and members of Cottondale Church of the Nazarene, recognized as Honorary Pallbearers.
Special thanks to Alice and Robert Hopkins, Wayne and Fran Barger, Tim and Cathy Morrison, Joe and Annie Hilderbrandt, Missy and Michael Hefelfinger & Anna Claire, and lifelong friends Eddie and Jackie Brown.
Gail was devoted to her family and friends and will never be forgotten by those
who truly knew her. Her motto she left behind was “be kind to someone every
day and it will always bring back a blessing to you”.
Gail has gone home but what she leaves behind will forever live in the hearts and
minds of her family and friends.
