Gene Fair

A visitation for Gene will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. with burial at Memory Hill Gardens.

He is preceded in death by his parents Alphie Max and Alma Fair, his late wife Shirley Fair, brother George D. Fair, sister Alice Simonetti, and granddaughter Erica Danielle Pierson. Survivors include his former wife and friend Nelda Lemley, sisters Alva Graves and Annette Averette, daughters Carolyn Levins (David), Debbie Taylor, Regina Pierson (Danny) and son Max Fair (Donna). Grandchildren, Mindy Aycock, Misty Wood, Chad Levins, Mike Pierson, Shannon Taylor, Crystal Pierson and Jody Taylor. Thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be David and Chad Levins, Danny and Mike Pierson, and Shannon and Jody Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama and DCH Medical Center.

Revelation 21:4 says; “ He will wipe every tear from their eyes and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things are passed away.”
