TUSCALOOSA – Emma Jean Cole, age 87, passed away October 21, 2022 at her home. Services will be 11 a. m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Randy Beard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Mrs. Cole will be laid to rest in Memory Hill Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben L. Cole; parents, Freeman and Nancy Nichols; step-father, Otis Johnson; and sister, Lola Odom.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Cole; daughters, Karen Chavis (Dan), Kim Parker (Travis), and Karla Farish (Glenn); brother, William Nichols; grandchildren, Ashleigh Jackson (Chris), Kimber Parker, Jeana Tutwiler (Young), Nate Farish, and Benjamin Parker; and great-grandchildren, Conleigh and Shelby Jackson, and Ellie and Emma Tutwiler.
Pallbearers will be Travis Parker, Dan Chavis, Young Tutwiler, Chris Jackson, and Glenn Farish.
Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Hospice of West Alabama.
