TUSCALOOSA – Elizabeth Helton Braughton, age 89, passed away April 18, 2021 at Moundville Health and Rehabilitation. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
Mrs. Braughton was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Braughton, Sr.; and sons, David E. Braughton, Jr. and Foster Lee Braughton.
She is survived by her son, Terry Braughton (Carol); sister, Brenda Helton Cummings (David); grandchildren, Audra Braughton, Brad Braughton (Cassady), and Chad Braughton III (Laura); and great-grandchildren, Coeson Braughton, Brixson Braugton, Aceson Braughton, Mason Braughton, and Taylor Ann Braughton.
Pallbearers will be Mike Nash, Chad Trimm, David Cummings, Chad Braughton, Cody Tidmore, and Robert Fredrick.
