NORTHPORT – Dorothy Skelton, age 86, passed away August 1, 2021 at Glen Haven Health and Rehabilitation. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021 in Memory Hill Gardens with Rev. Albert Lyles officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Ms. Skelton was preceded in death by her parents, Velma and Robert Dean; siblings, Robert Dean, Jr., Adrian Dean, Paul Dean, Jesse Dean, Gene Dean, and Peggy Wallace; son, Edward Skelton, Jr.; and daughter, Mary Howell.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ouellette (Pete), Carol Booth (Ray), and Pam Dyer; sister, Shirley Edwards; fourteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Honorary pallbearers are employees of Glen Haven Nursing Home and Hospice of West Alabama.
