Dorothy Lee Miller, 84, died in the Hospice of West Alabama on November 6, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, November 16, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents Mark Edwin and Marie Louise Hamilton Miller. She is survived by cousins Marion Contompasis (George), Carol Patterson, and Robert Reighard.
Dorothy was a Social Worker for the Tuscaloosa and Birmingham VA Medical Centers. She liked to write, travel, birdwatch, and go to Dauphin Island. She loved and was loved by many friends, family, and pets.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s memory may be sent to the American Red Cross – Disaster Relief (West Alabama Chapter), the Humane Society of West Alabama, or the Dauphin Island Bird Sanctuaries, Inc.
