The youngest of three children, David began his life in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on May 15, 1966. After a successful basketball career at Starkville High School, he continued on to the University of Missouri-Kansas City to earn a degree in Economics and Finance. David became a successful businessman and entrepreneur. He retired early in order to support his wife and her career.

David loved watching Alabama Football, going to the beach, being around the people he loved and making them laugh, dining out, hanging out with his dog Bama, making friends everywhere he went, watching movies, eating a good filet mignon, listening to 80's music, telling stories, and just having plain ole good fun.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents Lorenzo and Ruby Stewart.
