COTTONDALE – Charlie G. Sansing, age 88, passed away August 2, 2020 at DCH Regional Medical Center. A crypt-side service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel, a Dignity Memorial provider, directing.
Mr. Sansing was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Virgie Sansing.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara; niece, Joy Posey (Danny); nephew, Billey Sansing; and nieces in law, Susan Sansing and Glenda Sansing.
Charlie was born in Pickens County, Ala. to Nelson and Virgie Sansing. He was a loving husband to Barbara. Charlie worked at Bryce Hospital in Tuscaloosa for many years; he had a caring and compassionate heart. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Honorary pallbearers are Bill Collins, Jason Collins, Alphonso Duncan, and Jim Crowe.
