Billy Junior James

HOLT - Billy Junior James arrived at his eternal home on January 7th, 2018. He was precisely on time and was greeted by his Heavenly Father with open arms and words of affirmation of a life well lived. The celebration of his life will be Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel and the service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Holley officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.

He adored his loving wife of 40 years, Vera Shirley James. Her continued welfare was his greatest concern even to the end. Billy was blessed with three sons, Bobby James (Marsha), Billy Joel James and James Larry Englebert (Jeannie) and one daughter, Linda Englebert. He was PePaw to four grandchildren, Kristi Dyer (Rhett), Kelly Kilgore, Kevin James and Wesley James; and three great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Kilgore, Cannon Dyer and Case Dyer.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy Kemp James.

Billy was a strong, hard-working, loving man. He was a helper to anyone in need. He was a Christian example for his children and all who knew him. He loved his country and was proud to have served in the Korean War with the United States Army 53rd Engineer Company. He was a member of Holten Heights Nazarene Church.
