Betty Epperson, age 68, of Tuscaloosa, died February 17, 2016, at Hale County Hospital. Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her father, Frances Fountaine; mother, Effie Fountaine; and husband, Bill Epperson.Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Gilliland (Earl) and Diane Wester (Joe); son, Russell Epperson (Reagan); sisters, Shirley Morrison, Peggy Duncan (Wayne) and Donna Smalley; brother, Kenneth Fountaine (Rose); grandchildren, Jeremy Gilliland, Penny Bice (Brandon), Patty Garner and Chelsea Gilliland; and great-grandson, Jon Bryant Bice.Pallbearers will be Steven Morrison, Trevino Vawters, Jake Fountaine, Bubba Barks, Randy Cooley and Daniel Kaiser.
