Abner Paul Stewart II, age 20, of Vance, died July 23, 2013, at UAB Hospital. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Roscoe Kornegay officiating. Burial will follow in Thrasher Cemetery with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jeff and Jean Rice.
Survivors include his parents, Paul and Rose Mary Stewart; grandparents, Billy and Pat Stewart; aunts, Princess Stewart and Angel Nix; and uncles, Andy Rice and Billy Stewart Jr.
Pallbearers will be Zac Stafford, Joe Kelley, Bear Blalock, Phillip Farley, Doug Lewis, and Josh Macks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Cancer Society .
