Rosa Da Conceicao Machado, age 95, of Crows Landing, California entered into rest on Monday, March 29, 2021. She was born March 20, 1926 in Rua de Baixo Calheta, São Jorge, Açores to Maria da Conceicao Silva and Antonio A. da Silva.
Rosa is survived by: son Antonio Leonardo Machado (Fatima) of Santa Clara; and daughter Maria Lucia Cardoso (Alfredo) of Crows Landing; grandchild Sandra Oliveira; grandchild Carlos Machado; grandchild Rosa Cardoso; grandchild Fatima Machado; great grandchild Kendall Clouse; great grandchild Lukas Oliveira; and great grandchild Logan Oliveira.
She was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Turlock, California.
Rosa was preceded in death by: her spouse Carlos Machado in June 17, 2001; father Antonio A. da Silva; mother Maria da Conceicao Silva; and granddaughter Maria dos Anjos Cardoso.
A Visitation for Rosa will be held from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California.
A Recitation of the Rosary followed by Funeral Mass will occur at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Road, Turlock, California. A committal service will follow at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Road, Turlock, California.
Serving as pallbearers are Sandra Oliveira, Carlos Machado, Rosa Cardoso and Fatima Machado.
