Ronald Brooks Varner

Ronald is survived by his companion of 23 years and wife of two years, Karen Volz of Turlock; his son Matthew Varner (Rachel and their two daughters) of Turlock, CA; his daughter April Varner of Phoenix, AZ; his step son James Lewis (Chrissy) of Turlock, CA; his step son Mike Robbins of Phoenix, AZ; and his step son David Robbins of Phoenix, AZ; his sister Susan Varner (Rick Fehr) of Auburn, CA and his brother Alec Varner (Paula) of Lindsey, OK.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father Ronald Varner and his mother Joan (Deckard) Varner; his grandson Devon Lewis.

Ronald also leaves behind two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

His greatest passion was being outdoors in nature. He and Karen would often take their dogs Roxy and Jack to the river. He also enjoyed snow skiing with his son and father. San Francisco Giants and Minnesota Vikings were his teams. He was quite the pool player and enjoyed some golf too.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life on August 20, 2022 starting at 11:00 AM at the V.F.W 1405 East Linwood Avenue, Turlock, CA 95380.
