Rafael R. Silveira

Rafael R. Silveira, age 92, of Turlock,, California, passed away on Sunday September 3, 2017. Rafael was born February 22, 1925 in Lajes do Pico, Azores, to Maria das Dores Rodrigues Silveira and Manuel Brum da Silveira.

Rafael is survived by his wife, Maria P. Silveira; daughter Mary Lou Freitas; son-in-law Joe Freitas; and daughter Ines F. Silveira; granddaughter Kristen Dutra Pouliot, grandson Danny Freitas, grandson Michael Freitas, great grandson Ace Dutra and great grandson Maverick Pouliot.

Rafael was preceded in death by; father Manuel Brum da Silveira and mother Maria das Dores Rodrigues Silveira.

A visitation for Rafael will be held Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Services, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, California. A combined service of rosary & funeral mass will occur Monday, September 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Sacrad Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave., Turlock, California, 95382. An interment will occur Monday, September 11, 2017 at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, California.

Serving as pallbearers are Michael Freitas, Danny Freitas, Joe Freitas, Mike Pouliot, Julio Teixeira and Jose Brum.
