It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia J. Williams, affectionately known as “Nan” or “Patty”, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who left us on Saturday April 19th, 2025, at the age of 75. Patty was known for her warmth, kindness, and the remarkable love she poured into everything she did.
A woman of many talents, Patty was a skilled seamstress whose passion for sewing created countless handmade treasures. Whether it was mending a loved one's favorite jacket or crafting a beautiful quilt, she did it all with love and precision. Her deft hand at crafting cultivated her love for thrifting, where she had an eye for finding hidden gems and cherished antiques that made her home a haven of warmth and character.
In addition to her handcrafting, Patty was an avid reader, always with a book in hand and a thirst for knowledge. Her sharp intellect and curiosity made her a wonderful conversationalist, and she was often sought after for her thoughtful insights and gentle wisdom.
Above all, Patty was a homemaker in the truest sense. She created a home filled with love, laughter, and the aroma of home-cooked meals. Her caring nature extended to all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Whether it was offering a listening ear, providing comfort during hard times, or simply sharing in a moment of joy, she made everyone feel valued and appreciated.
Patty leaves behind her beloved husband of 57 years Theodore "Pop" Williams, her children Shannon Gimlin, Vandee Oie, and Jaime Williams, her grandchildren Zachary, Joshua, Eric, Danielle, Brianna, Gabriel, Marcus, and Seska, 3 great grandchildren, and her siblings Dwayne Brunell and Robert M. Garret. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Helen Garret and her granddaughter Cassie Panner.
Her family and friends will remember her not just for her talents, but for the immense love she gave so freely. Patty was a shining example of grace, intelligence, and generosity, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Patty leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and creativity, and she will forever be in our hearts.
