Michael Anthony Silva

Mr. Michael Anthony Silva, age 35 “Entered into Rest” on Friday, May 23, 2014 from a motorcycle accident in Livingston. Michael was born in Turlock and has lived all of this life in Livingston. He was a maintenance worker for more than 10 years for the Livingston Unified School District and in 2012 was appointed to the city planning commission for the city of Livingston. Together with his family they are very involved in the Livingston Community, his father Tony Silva is the City Clerk, his aunt Maria Ribeiro is the City Treasurer and his brother-in-law, Arturo Sicairos is a City Councilman. Michael was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church of Livingston and “Lira Açoreana” Portuguese Band of Livingston. He loved music and especially his daughter and wife. His survivors are: His Wife Mayra I. Silva of Livingston; Parents – Tony and Rosemary Silva of Livingston; Daughter – Allison Michelle Silva of Livingston and Grandparents – Bob and Zelma Souza of Waterford.

Services: Combined Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31st at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 330 Franci St., Livingston. Interment will follow the Funeral Mass at Winton District Cemetery, 7651 Almond St., Winton.
