Mario Q. Diaz

Mr. Mario Q. Diaz, age 65 “Entered into Rest” on Monday, August 4, 2014 with his family by his side after just celebrating his daughter Sarah’s Birthday. Mr. Diaz was born in Del Rio, Texas and later the family moved to San Jose, CA and he graduated from Lincoln High School in 1967. He loved children and played Santa Claus for his Nephews and Nieces. Mario had a passion for music. He enjoyed listening to music and played various instruments. At one time he had his own band “Mario and the Immortals” and he also loved baseball and wrestling. Mr. Diaz is survived by his Daughter Sarah Diaz of San Jose; Five Brothers – Juan A. Diaz and his Wife Lucy Cortes of Delhi, Victor Q. Diaz of San Jose, Hector Q. Diaz of Delhi, Javier Diaz and his Wife Carmen of Delhi and Matthew Q. Diaz and his Wife Terry of Modesto; Three Sisters – Ernestina Q. Diaz of San Pablo, Delia D. Becker and her Husband David of Modesto and Francis Q. Diaz and her Husband Rafael Antu of Antioch. Preceded in death by his Parents – Alberto Buruarto Diaz on August 10, 2005 and Francisca Q. Diaz on June 22, 2014. His sister Diana A. Irizarry also passed just one week ago on July 28, 2014 before her beloved brother. Their services will be held together on this Sunday.

Services: Visitation – Sunday, August, 10, 2014 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, California. Inurnment – Private.
