Ms. Rocha was born in Terceira, Azores, and had lived in the area for the last 3 years. Maria and her husband, Antonio had been married for 64 years. She is survived by her sons Jose (Nelie) Rocha of Livingston, and Marcelino (Lucia) Rocha of Hilmar. She is survived by her brother Jose (Alice) Borges of Los Banos as well as her sisters: Virginia Brum of Azores, Mercedes (Eduardo) Costa of Delhi, as well as her 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 2-8 P.M. at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service 286 W Main Street Turlock.
The rosary will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, 10 A.M at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church,1343 W Greenway Ave, Turlock. Mass will be also be on Wednesday at Our Lady of Assumption, 10:30 A.M. Burial to follow at N Hilmar Cemetery District, 8710 N Tegner Road, Hilmar.
