Maria F. Pereira

Born in Ribeira Seca, Sao Jorge, Azores, Maria lived in this area for many years.

She leaves behind 1 daughter, Marie Santos of Gustine, 4 sons: Fernando Pereira of San Jose, Tony Pereira of Atwater, John Pereira of Atwater, and Joe Pereira of Atwater. Maria also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters: Maria Silveira of Turlock, Leonor Silveira of Hilmar and Cremilde Fontes of Hilmar, and 3 brothers: Liberal Azevedo of Hilmar, Augustine Azevedo of Ribeira Seca, Sao Jorge, and Januario Azevedo of Livingston. She leaves behind many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Augusto Pereira in 2003, her parents Jose and Hermina Azevedo, her brothers Jose Azevedo and Antonio Azevedo, and her sisters Umberta Fontes, Felecidade Mancebo, and Zelia Azevedo.

A visitation will be held from 2-8 PM on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service 286 W. Main Street, Turlock. Rosary will be at 7 PM.

Mass will be held at noon on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock, CA. Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
