Mrs. Maria Irene Dias, age 87 “Entered into Rest” on Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Half Moon Bay, CA at her son’s residence. Mrs. Dias was born in Biscoitos, Terceira, Azores and has lived in Half Moon Bay for 36 years. She is survived by: Her Son Firmino M. Dias and his wife Mariana of Half Moon Bay; Daughter – Maria Ilda Fagundes of Hilmar; Two Granddaughters – Elizabeth Costa and her husband David of Turlock, CA and Christina Sullivan and her husband Ryan of Half Moon Bay, CA; Five Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband José Dias and her parents Francisco and Maria Alves.

Services: Visitation – Thursday, July 24, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church, 400 Church St., Half Moon Bay, CA. Rosary – Thursday, July 24, 2014, 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Pillar Catholic Church, Half Moon Bay. Funeral Mass – Friday, July 25, 2014, 11:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Pillar Catholic Church, Half Moon Bay. Interment – Following the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Pillar Catholic Cemetery – 980 Miramontes Ave., Half Moon Bay.
