Maria Lucia Cardoso, age 71, of Crows Landing, California passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her Family on Friday, September 29, 2023. Maria was born in Calheta, São Jorge, Açores to Rosa da Conceição da Silva and Carlos Leonardo Machado.
Maria is survived by her husband of 47 years, Alfredo Cardoso of Crows Landing, her daughters Rosa Cardoso also of Crows Landing and Sandra Oliveira (Luis) of Modesto along with her brother Antonio Leonardo Machado (Maria Fatima) of Santa Clara. Maria leaves behind her three grandchildren Kendall Clouse, Lukas Oliveira and Logen Oliveira to honor her memory.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents Rosa da Conceição da Silva and Carlos Leonardo Machado along with her daughter Maria dos Anjos.
Maria was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Turlock, California.
A Visitation for Maria will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.
A Recitation of the Rosary and Funeral Mass will occur Friday, October 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 South Walnut Road, Turlock, CA 95380.
A Committal service will occur Friday, October 20, 2023 at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock, CA 95380.
Serving as pallbearers are Gary Damiao, Luis Oliveira, Carlos Machado and Helio Anacleto.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Kendall Clouse, Logen Oliveira and Lukas Oliveira.
