Maria Guadalupe Alamo

Mrs. Maria Guadalupe Alamo, passed away Friday, May 8, 2015, surrounded by her family at the Marshall Medical Center, Placerville, California. She was 88 years old and was born in Altares, Terceira, Azores, and she lived in Modesto for the past 25 years.

Mrs. Alamo is survived by her Son- Raymond Alamo and his wife Zilda Alamo of Modesto. Five Daughters- Filomena Ferreira and her husband Dimas Ferreira of Discover Bay, CA Albertina Silveira and her husband Lino Silveira of Fremont, CA, Mariana Baker and her husband Ron Baker of Placerville, CA, Lucia Yerro and her husband Benny Yerro of Tracy, CA, and Esmeralda Diaz and her husband Martin Diaz of Milpitas, CA. 17 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. Maria Guadalupe Alamo is Preceded in Death by her Husband – Alberto Cota Alamo in May 23, 2000, and her Son- Joe Alamo in March 16, 1999. Mrs. Alamo also was a parishioner of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock, and a member of American Heart Association of Turlock, California.

Services:Visitation-2:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, CA.

Combined Service of Rosary & Funeral Mass-10:00 AM, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Rd., Turlock.

Burial will be following the service to Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd. Turlock.
