Manuel dos Santos da Silveira

Mr. Manuel dos Santos da Silveira Entered into Rest at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto on Friday, August 10, 2012. He was born on November 1, 1920 in Santo Antao, Topo, Sao Jorge, Azores. Mr. Silveira was a Dairyman for 60 years.

He is survived by Three Sons - Valdemiro Silveira and His Wife Lucia Silveira of Turlock, CA, Antonio Arnaldo Silveira and His Wife Urbana Silveira of Ceres, CA and Carlos Silveira and His Wife Judite of Santo Antao, Sao Jorge, Azores. Two Daughters - Bernardette Teixeira and Her Husband Antonio Teixeira of Livingston, CA and Ermelinda Mendonca and her husband Antonio Mendonca of Livingston, CA. Eleven Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren. Mr. Silveira was preceded in Death by His Wife - Rosa das Dores da Silveira in 1996, Three Sons - Jose Silveira, Manuel Guilherme Silveira and Herculano Silveira and One Daughter - Filomena Silveira.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, CA.

Vigil and Rosary will be on Thursday Evening, August 16, 2012 at 8:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave., Turlock, CA.

Funeral Mass, Friday, August 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Turlock, CA and Entombment to follow at Turlock Memorial Park Mausoleum, 575 N. Soderquist Road, Turlock, CA.
