Jose Refugio Tellez Malagon, age 85, of Patterson, California passed away at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Jose was born in Uruapan, Michoacán, Mexico.
Jose is survived by his children, Martha Fernandez (Jose) of Patterson; Olga Tellez (Agustin) of Ceres; Ana Maria Tellez (Alfredo) of Delhi; Magda Tellez (Hector) of Mexico; Enrique Tellez (Lorena) of Delhi and Alejandro Tellez (Rosario) of Turlock. Jose also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren to honor his memory.
Jose was preceded in death by his wife Amalia Aguiñiga; his grandchildren Ramon Tellez, David Fernandez, Jose Tellez, and Jorge Alberto Tellez.
A Visitation for Jose will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM at 185 Rosewood Drive, Turlock, California, 95380.
A Recitation of the Rosary will occur Monday, January 22, 2024 at 6:00 PM at 185 Rosewood Drive, Turlock, California, 95380.
A Funeral Mass will occur Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Avenue, Turlock, CA 95380.
