Joe V. Mendes

Joe is survived by his spouse, Eduarda M. Mendes; daughter Monica Toste (Lucio) of Patterson; and daughter Marline Brasil (Antonio) of Patterson; brother Francisco Mendes of Turlock; grandchild Isabel Toste; grandchild Christian Brasil; grandchild Natalie Brasil; and grandchild Gabriela Brasil.

He is preceded in death by, his parents, Hermina Melo, and brother João Mendes by his sister.

A visitation for Joe will be held from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California.

A recitation of the rosary follwed by funeral mass will occur at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Road, Turlock, California. A committal service will follow at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Road, Turlock, California.

Serving as pallbearers are Antonio Brasil, Lucio Toste, Christian Brasil, Joe Melo, John Melo, Victor Mendes and Eliseu Pachicho.
