Jason Lee Couto, age 37, of Manteca, California beloved son, brother, boyfriend, grandson, nephew, and cousin entered into rest on Saturday, February 6, 2021. He was born January 25, 1984 in California to Carla Elizabeth Couto and Wendell Busby.
Jason is survived by sister Alyssa Zuniga (Couto) (Hugo Zuniga) of Turlock; girlfriend Karla Bautista, grandparent Elizabeth R. Perry, his aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Jason was preceded in death by father George Manuel Couto, mother Carla Elizabeth Couto, grandfather Kenneth Perry, grandmother Florene Busby, grandfather Arthur Busby, grandmother Judite Mancebo, and grandfather Carlos Sousa.
Jason was taken from us too soon, but that did not stop him from following his dreams. Among these dreams, he started his own business and furthered his education by studying nutrition, social behavior, and web programming. He was also very involved in the gaming community. He had the biggest heart and if he loved you, you were his FAMILY. He was ecstatic that he would soon be becoming a father with his girlfriend Karla and an uncle to his sister Alyssa’s child. He will be dearly missed by everyone who ever had the experience of getting one of his bear hugs.
A Visitation for Jason will be held from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California.
A Recitation of the Rosary followed by Funeral Mass will start at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Avenue, Turlock, California.
