Januario Silva Pimentel

Januario Silva Pimentel, age 86, of Ceres, California passed away at Doctors Medical Center on Friday, September 16, 2022. Januario was born August 14, 1936 in Corvo, Azores, Portugal to Geneviva Barba and Pedro Pimentel.

Januario is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Maria Fatima Pimentel of Ceres; his two sons Jerry Pimentel (Debbie) of Modesto and Steve Pimentel (Sharon Bettencourt) of Ceres; Januario is also survived by his sister Judy Mendes of Corvo, Azores, Portugal; He leaves behind his six grandchildren Jerry Pimentel Jr. (Samantha), Cody Pimentel (Jennifer), Chris Pimentel (Brianna), Beau Pimentel (Vanessa), Austin Pimentel (Ashley), Angel Pimentel (Bobby), and his two great grandsons Jerry Pimentel III and Jameson Pimentel to honor his memory.

Januario was preceded in death by his mother Geneviva Barba and his father Pedro Pimentel; his sister Carmelia Mendes and his brother Adriano Pimentel.

Januario was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres, California and St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Hughson, California.

A visitation for Januario will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.

A Rosary service followed by a Funeral Mass will occur Monday, September 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 7820 Fox Road, Hughson, CA 95326.

A Committal Service will occur Monday, September 26, 2022 at Ceres Memorial Park 1801 E. Whitmore Ave., Ceres, California, 95307.

Serving as pallbearers are Jerry Pimentel Jr. , Chris Pimentel, Cody Pimentel, Austin Pimentel, Beau Pimentel and Jerry Pimentel.
