On Sunday evening the 12th of February our family lost our heartbeat, our soul, our Matriarch, the light of our lives. An amazing wife, a very special mother, a generous family member, a kind & Caring, friend, and a pro-active member of the community. They say, “It’s not the years in your life, but the life in your years”.

Janet numerically was 60 years old however her touch of love will be timeless from her baking to decorating she lived to spread happiness & cheer.

It was her mission in life to do so and say she accomplished it would be an understatement. The Pires Family, ( John, Gabriel, Paul & Pamela), would be honored to have anyone & everyone share in the celebration of her life to take place at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 20323 American Ave., Hilmar.

Services: Visitation- 1:00 to 4:00 PM, Thursday February 16, 2017 at Whitehurst-Norton- Dias Funeral Service, Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, California. Vigil & Recitation of the Rosary- 7:00 PM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 20323 American Ave., Hilmar, California. Funeral Mass- 9:30 AM, Friday February 17, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hilmar, California. Mrs. Jeanette Lucille Pires will be laid to rest at Turlock Memorial Park 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, California.
