Grimoalda D. Dias

Mrs. Grimoalda D. Dias passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 3, 2017, surrounded by her family, Grimoalda was 76 years and was born in Vila Nova, Terceira, Azores. She had lived in Turlock for many years.

Grimoalda is survived by her daughter: Connie (Frank) Galhano of Denair, CA, 2 sons: Paul (Nelia) Dias of Tuson, AZ: Carlos (Beth) Dias of Hilmar, CA, 8 grandchildren, and one brother: Jose (Isilda) da Silva of Artesia, CA, as well as several nieces and nephews. Grimoalda was preceded in death by her husband: Alberto Dias on February 15, 2001, and her parents: Jose & Rosa da Silva. She was a devoted parishioner choir & team member of Our Lady of Assumption in Turlock.

Services: Visitation - 2:00 to 5:00 PM, Tuesday May 9, 2017 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 W. Main St., Turlock, California. Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass- 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church: 2602, S. Walnut Rd., Turlock. Grimoalda will be laid to rest at Turlock Memorial Park: 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
