Camila J. Nunes

Camila is survived by her children: Noel Pereira (Dan) of Hilmar, California; Luis Nunes (Carla) of Brownsville, Oregon; and John B. Nunes (Shirley) of Faial, Azores. She also leaves behind twenty-two grandchildren: Cindy Gaona, Art Gaona, Rich Pereira, Maureen Pereira, Scott Sousa, Veronica Sousa, Dustin Nunes, Ann Nunes, Brandy Crenshaw, Shane Kelly, Kacey Funk, Joe Funk, Colton Hackstedt, Jordan Hackstedt, Kenny Rosa, Josie Rosa, Holli Ono, Alex Ono, Charlene Medeiros, Ruben Medeiros, Kati Dunn, and Taylor Dunn; and twenty-six great-grandchildren: Fabian Gaona, Cameron Maclntosh, Sylvia Maclntosh, Dorian Maclntosh, Madison Maclntosh, Alexandria Pereira, Frank Pereira, McKinley Sousa, Bentley Sousa, Haley Nunes, Violet Nunes, Payton Nunes, McKenzie Crenshaw, Brady Crenshaw, Joey Funk, Leah Funk, Blake Swanson, Colt Swanson, Charlie Hackstedt, Oakley Hackstedt, Rory Rosa, Nora Ono, Samuel Medeiros, Moses Medeiros, Scarlett Dunn, and Remy Dunn. She is also remembered by her great-great-grandchildren: Eliseo Villarreal, Cameron Maclntosh Jr., and Matteo Maclntosh along with her god child Charlene Silva.

Camila was preceded in death by her parents, Acacia and Camilo Emilio.

She was a devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock, California.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.

Funeral service will be on Friday, September 6, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave, Turlock, CA 95380.

Committal service will follow at North Hilmar Cemetery, 8710 N. Tegner Road, Hilmar, California 95324.

Serving as pallbearers are, Scott Sousa, Richard Pereira, Joe Funk, Joey Funk, Art Gaona, Taylor Dunn and Colton Hacksedt.

Faleceu no no dia 25 de Agosto, em Turlock, a Senhora Camila Nunes, com 93 anos de idade. Viveu em Hilmar durante mais de 35 anos

Era natural da ilha do Corvo, Açores.

A Senhora Nunes deixa de luto os seus filhos, Noel Pereira casada com Dan em Hilmar, Califórnia, Luís Nunes casado com Carla em Brownsville, Oregon, e John B. Nunes casado com Shirley na ilha do Faial, Açores. Deixa também vinte e dois netos, vinte e seis bisnetos, três trisnetos e uma afilhada.

Foi precedida na morte pelos seus pais Acacia e Camilo Emilio.

Era paroquiana da Igreja Católica do Sagrado Coração em Turlock, Califórnia.

A recitação do Terço terá lugar na quinta-feira, 5 de Setembro de 2024, às 6:00 da tarde, no Serviço Funerário Whitehurst-Norton-Dias, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.

A missa de Corpo Presente realiza-se na sexta-feira, 6 de Setembro de 2024, ao meio-dia, na Igreja Católica do Sagrado Coração, 1200 Lyons Ave, Turlock, CA 95380.

A Senhora Nunes será sepultada no cemitério de Hilmar.
