Antonio Manuel Nunes, age 57, of Manteca, California passed away at San Joaquin General Hospital in French Camp, California, on Monday, October 23, 2023. Antonio was born in Velas, São Jorge, Açores to Leonilda Reis and Manuel Silveira Nunes.
Antonio is survived by his sister Fatima de Melo (Manuel) of Manteca; his nephew George de Melo (Jelene) of Los Banos, his niece Georganne Galdamez (Alex) of Manteca, his niece Elizabeth Silveira (Brian) of Tracy, his niece Leonor Melo (Joe) of Atwater and his nephew Anthony Borges (Melissa) of Atwater. Antonio is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
Antonio was preceded in death by his father Manuel Silveira Nunes, his mother Leonilda Reis and his sister Olga Borges.
A Recitation of the Rosary and Funeral Mass for Antonio will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 505 E. North Street,, Manteca, CA 95336.
A Committal Service will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, 17871 Carrolton Road,, Escalon, CA 95320.
