Veronica Ronnie and/or Babe Markancek Crist

Our mother, Veronica Crist, age 86, died peacefully listening to the music of Danny O'Donnell on June 24th surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Chicago, IL, the baby child of 11 siblings. She was lovingly called Mom by her children, Grandma to her grandchildren and Ronnie or Babe by friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd and is survived by her children, Susie (Bob), Pattie (Jay), Michael (Nancy); her grandchildren Robbie (Leslie), John (Amanda), Katie (Jayson), Hillary (Garret), Brittny (Brent) and blessed with 6 great-grandchildren. The other love of her life was her dog and forever constant friend, Miss Molly, who now lives with Veronica's daughter, Pattie in sunny Las Vegas.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, July 25 at 4:00 pm at Vista Village Recreation Center in Lacey. Donations in Veronica's memory can be made to: Providence SoundHomeCare & Hospice, Hospice Fund, 3432 South Bay Road NE, Olympia, WA. 98506.

The family wishes to thank hospice for all their support, Area Agency on Aging, especially Lindy, her favorite doctors: Kathleen Hurd & Tony Truxal, the staff at Hanger Prosthetics especially Julie, as well as Catholic Community Services caregivers, especially Kathy, whom she loved dearly.
