Mrs. Thong Quoc Vu passed away peacefully September 22, 2013 at 96 years of age.
Born Tinh Lam, she was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Dr. Thong Quoc Vu, Dean of Law School of the University of Saigon, Secretary of Health & Human Services and Vice Speaker of the Legislature of the former Republic of South Vietnam. She is survived by her sons Dich Vu (Rosalina) and Thuy Vu (Xuan Le), her daughter My Khanh Vu Nguyen (Khang Nguyen), her grandchildren: Vanessa Vu (Gary Sabido), Angela Vu (Lawrence Stephen), Elizabeth Vu, Quoc Anh Nguyen, Quynh Anh Nguyen (Duy Duong), MaiAn Vu (Nicholas Chauvin), Le Yen Vu, Nam Thien Vu, and her great-grandchildren: Kaelie Vu Sabido, Jonas Vu Sabido, Maiina Vu Sabido, Marcus Vu Sabido, Savannah Vu Stephen, Melina Duong, Leilee Duong, Lily Eva Chauvin.
