He was the husband of Rosalie (Burks) Warren who he met in the 8th grade. They shared 68 years of marriage.
Born in Kent, WA, Ron graduated from Kent Meridian High school in 1956. He then joined the U.S. Navy. After his discharge, he worked for the Washington State Patrol for over 28 years, proudly retiring as Deputy Chief in 1988. Ron then worked for WIRB (Western Institutional Review Board) from 1988 to 2013.
He enjoyed everything UW Huskies, Alaska Fishing trips with his guys, horse racing and winning the BC Premiere with Jebrica (named after his granddaughters Jessica, Brianne and Cami), and most of all his family.
Ron is survived by his wife Rosalie Warren, of Renton, WA; his daughter Dianna Nasset and husband Jeff of Renton, WA; his son Ron Warren Jr. and wife Penny of Union, WA; granddaughters Jessica Nasset, Brianne Nasset and Cami Warren; sister-in-law Cindy Spilker and husband Paul of Canyon Lake, TX; brother-in-law Bob Weber of Arlington, TX; uncle Clarence Warren of Riverside, CA; as well as multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Rita Warren.
Ron’s memorial service will be held on June 2, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Mills and Mills Funeral Home in Tumwater, WA. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ron’s life.
