Margaret (Peg) Ward Peg, 97, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Olympia Manor Nursing Home. She was born on October 30, 1914 and grew up in Alliance, Ohio. Her hobbies were golfing and bowling, however, her joy was her church and taking care of her family. Surviving are a son, William H. Ward of Nairobi, Kenya; a daughter Monica Salazar and a granddaughter, Kristina Salazar (Bob), both of Olympia, WA; step-daughters Valerie Wallace (Pat) and Karen Sheldon of Tumwater, WA; numerous nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Antonia Gerino; husband of 25 years William H. Ward, Sr., companion of 27 years Tom Sheldon; sisters Frances, Helen, Betty, Adeline and Marie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Littlerock United Methodist Church Building Fund.
