Dennis, my prayers are with you and your family.  Maggie is at rest in that very special place we all yearn for when our time comes.  I knew Maggie best when she came to work for Wildlife Services when  I retired in 2001.  She was such a dear, sweet, and talented person.  She will be missed terribly by her family but the wonderful memories she leaves will live forever.

My heart goes out to Dennis and Maggie's sons, daughter-in-law and the baby girl she waited so long for and was so proud of.  Maggie was a treasured and treasured friend.

I knew Maggie, as she was known to all of her friends and co-workers, both professionally and personally.  In USDA's Wildlife Services program, where she worked for many years and from which she retired, she was known and admired for her highly capable administrative and budgeting skills and had a solid reputation among USDA national leadership for quality work.  She exemplified the very best in a Federal employee.   She became a friend over the years of our working together, and she and I and a couple of other former USDA co-workers traveled together personally, as friends, after our retirements until her health slowed her down.  I know how much she loved her family, and her death brings them much sorrow, I'm sure.  All of them have my prayers for peace and healing.  It was a privilege to have known Maggie Rayls.
