Lisa Marie Martinelli, beloved daughter and mother, passed away March 12, 2023, at age 52, after a long battle with Type 1 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. She is tremendously missed by surviving members of the family including her mother, Linda Martinelli, her son Nolan Paul Flores, grandson Jameson Flores, sisters Michelle Thompson and Lynnette Boyles, and Aunts Barbara Eaton and Janice Jimenez as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Leonard Martinelli and Grandparents, Henry and Madeline Wall.
Lisa was born on August 18, 1970 and attended schools in Merced and graduated from Merced College with an Associate in Arts degree. She went on to work as a medical assistant and medical records clerk at Merced Heart Associates and Merced Community Medical Center. Lisa found her true passion as a customer service representative at Pacific Mobil Service in 1997 and went on to Merced County Department of Child Support Services as services assistant specialist for 13 years. Over these years she had received many award certificates for excellent service.
In November, 2011 Lisa married and moved to Washington. She separated after 10 years and went to work at McLane Northwest in Lakewood Washington as a Warehouse Selector in July of 2021. It was her plan to return to California and transfer to McLane Pacific in Merced (but the Lord had other plans for her).
Lisa also attended Lake City Community Church in Lakewood Washington and the family received the following email from her friend, Marguerite. Lisa was a loving and compassionate person and adored her son Nolan and grandson Jameson. Many remember the infectious laugh she had. Lisa always loved having pets in her life and had many over the years. She was even a veterinary assistant for Merced Vet Clinic in June 1993. Her last and favorite pets were her 2 Jack Russells, Gia and Blake.
Lisa had a loving heart and would spark up a conversation with anyone. She will be truly missed and never ever be forgotten.
