With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a cherished wife, devoted mother, adored grandmother (Ema). She passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion.
Linda is preceded in death by her Grandparents, Parents and Brothers.
Born December 13, 1946, Linda embraced life AND touched the hearts of all who knew her. She was a beacon of light and full of life. Her unwavering love and strength were the cornerstones of her family's happiness. She was truly the rock of HER family; the quintessential matriarch.
As a wife, Linda was dedicated to her husband Richard, their marriage was a testament to enduring love, built on a foundation of respect, understanding, and unwavering support. Their fifty-five year marriage was also a lifelong friendship, filled with laughter, shared dreams, and countless cherished memories of golfing, traveling, and spending most of her time with the family.
As a mother, Linda was a source of boundless love and guidance. She poured her heart and soul into her children, imparting wisdom, and instilling values that will forever guide them. She was the family peacemaker and always instilled her wisdom on her family. Her love knew no bounds, and her children and grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy.
It was in her role as a grandmother she truly shined the brightest. She showered her grandchildren with affection, spoiling them with love, laughter, and baking. Her presence brought joy to their lives and she loved spending time with all her friends and family.
Though she may be gone, Linda’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. Her love will continue to guide and inspire us, and her memory will be cherished. She is survived by her husband Richard, children Timothy Thrasher (Charlotte Thrasher), Brian Thrasher, and Robin Herman (Wesley Herman) her grandchildren Tanner Thrasher, Samantha Thrasher, Taylor Thrasher, Nora Huff and Kaylynn Herman who all find solace in the precious memories and the enduring legacy she left behind. She taught us all how to love and not hold a grudge against anyone.
In honoring Linda’s life, let us celebrate the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the memories she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
