Joseph L Capron

He was stationed at Fort Lewis when he retired from the military, settling in Tacoma Washington in 1965 after more than 20 years of service. Joe went on to work at Boeing's Renton plant for more than 22 years, retiring in 1988. In retirement he volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul in South Tacoma, helping in the library for more than 20 years, 'retiring' just 3 years ago.

Joe married Dorothy Swenson in 1948. Though divorced more than four decades, they remained loyal friends until his death.

Joe was a very devout Catholic who loved the Lord. He attended St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Fife.

Joe leaves 4 children: Veronica Wight (Donald), Michael Capron (Francisca), Kenneth Capron (Sharon) and Lorraine Booth (Alan), plus 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Services for Joe will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday December 12 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 2303 54th Ave E, Fife, WA.

He will be laid to rest at Mills & Mills Memorial Park, Tumwater WA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence St Peter Hospice or a charity of

your choice.
