Louie was an Army Veteran, Rank E5, he served 3 years in Ft Riley, Kansas
After he finished school and was honorably discharged from the Army he went into business with his brother Hank. Together they owned a beer distributorship and “Casey’s Tavern”.
Louie went into business on his own, and bought the “Boulevard Tavern” in the early 80’s. He owned the “Bully” for 25 years before retiring.
My Dad made many relationships through his years of being a bar owner and growing up in Olympia/Lacey.
When my Dad wasn’t working, you could find him gardening, fishing, hunting and at the ballpark watching his granddaughter playing ball. He loved being outdoors, having a beer and laughing at his own jokes. He was the best cook and would often call and tell me he had made us dinner.
Please join us in celebrating Louie on Friday, May 16th at 1:00pm, at the Lacey Community Center.
