Jewell married the love of her life Emory Andrew Kramer on April 17th, 1955 in Ojai, California. Her children came in due time. Andrew Warren Kramer, James Wayne Kramer, Mark Emory Kramer, Paul Thomas Kramer, and Laura Ann Darby (Kramer).
Jewell said her life's work was as a homemaker. She is also quoted as saying, "The best thing I make for dinner is reservations!" Jewell was an elementary Sunday school teacher for two decades. She was a leader in Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Missionettes. She was an avid gardener as well. Many of her flowers dot local landscapes as they were spread around by friends and family. Jewell was marvelous with Halloween costumes, and birthday cake creations. With such a large family she was also a master economist. She knew how to stretch a buck.
Jewell is survived by her husband Emory, her sisters-in-law Janette Wooten-Spears, and Janice Broyles, all five of her children and their families. Her clan now includes 28 grandchildren and 21 great-grandkids, at last count. There will be a family service for Jewell at Mills and Mills Funeral Home.
