Jessie E Furth

Jessie was born August 20, 1919 in Hoquiam WA to Jessie and Edmund Blackmore. She grew up in Hoquiam and graduated from Hoquiam High School. Her first job was at the Oriole Café where she served up their famous burgers and fountain drinks. She married Fabian Furth on August 24, 1940. They raised nine children in a beautiful home making fond memories that the family now cherishes. Jessie was an avid Scrabble player and enjoyed Crossword puzzles.

She was a member of the Catholic Church and participated in the Altar Society. She also volunteered for the local food bank

After retirement they sold the family home and moved to the Olympia area. They also enjoyed traveling with many friends and relatives

Her loving husband Fabian preceded her in death on February 25, 1993. Jessie is survived by her nine children, Deanna Anderson (Tom), Patty Sheerer (Jim), Gary Furth, Mary Jane Turner (Mark), Peggy Ernst (Chuck), Karen Furth, David Furth, Colleen Furth-Ortiz (Eddie), and Ann Furth. She has 15 Grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren.

Never one to complain, she enjoyed life and her family. She will be greatly missed.
