Jerry Murray, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend died in his home on April 29, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born in Junction City, Oregon on January 20, 1921 and raised in Yelm, WA. He proudly served in the US Army during World War II. He was a 60 year resident of Olympia and retired from the Olympia Brewery. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and always being there for family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughters, Kathleen, Mary Ann, Dorothy and Peggy; stepdaughter, Cheryl and their families; sister, Margaret; and many grandchildren, great-grand- children, nieces and nephews. Jerry was pre-deceased by his wife, Jean of 64 years. He will be missed by his whole family and many friends. He was truly a gift to all of us. A memorial mass will be held on Friday May 6, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Olympia.
