Jeanette married Gene White on August 28, 1954 in Oakville, WA. They were married for 64 years.
While living in the Boston Harbor area in Olympia, they had several fruit trees and a large garden. She loved canning and preserving for the family.
Gene and Jeanette moved from Olympia, to Rochester in 1968 to start dairy farming, which they operated for over 25 years. Jeanette worked the farm hand-in-hand with Gene; they were quite a team. She raised all the calves and loved taking her grandchildren out to help. She was an integral part of the farm operation, but still managed to take great care of their 5 children.
She loved cooking for friends and family, and if you came to their house she was always ready and waiting to feed you!
Jeanette was an angel on earth; she lived her life by helping others and was always there for you whenever she was needed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Rhonda.
She is survived by her husband Gene White, son Doug (Arlene Snow) White and daughters Linda Lund and her husband Dean, Carol Gravatt and her husband Don, Annette Schuller and her husband Brad. She had 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Family and friends will greatly miss Jeanette’s kind spirit and positive attitude.
