Bill married Doris Wedgwood on June 10, 1949 and they began a lifetime of pastoring with the Church of the Nazarene in churches across Western Washington. Following his retirement from full time ministry in 1983, Pastor Bill also touched the lives of many in the Olympia, Shoreline and greater Lake Stevens communities.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Doris, his brother, Delbert; and his parents. He leaves behind his five children, Debbie, Mike (Kay), Kathy Millaway (Tom), Tim (Kirsten) and Mark; as well as six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his brother, Bruce and sister, Wilma Muir.
A memorial service is planned on July 21, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Church of the Nazarene in Olympia, Washington.
