She was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, by her parents Ralph Powers and Kathleen (Shisler) Powers as the middle of three sisters. She graduated from Lincoln High School and the University of Portland’s Saint Vincent School of Nursing. She worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Vancouver, Washington, St. John’s Hospital in Longview, Washington, and ended her career with 33 years at Kaiser Permanente in Portland and Vancouver. She gave over 200 hours to the Red Cross as a volunteer during blood drives. Mom enjoyed bowling, golf, and especially a good game of bridge.
In 1942 she married Theodore (Ted) F. Wall. They lived in Woodland, Washington for over 50 years. They had three children; Theona Wall (Federal Way), Stephanie (Wall) Todak (Olympia), and Gary Wall (Woodland).
She is survived by her children Theona and Gary, her youngest sister Winifred Dixon (Idaho), two nieces, a nephew, seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and her Special Friend Edward Saulnier.
She is predeceased in death by her parents, husband, daughter Stephanie and Stephanie’s husband Al, and her eldest sister Eloise Newhouse.
We, her surviving family, give special thanks to Providence St Peter Hospital and Hospice, especially her nurses Gina, Crystal and Brian, for taking such great care of Mom.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, July 26, at 1:00 p.m., at Frank Able Cemetery in Woodland, Washington.
