Dorothy Jeanne Thorpe

She was born August 7, 1928 to Earl and Rowena Milton in Kittitas Washington.

The family moved to Bremerton where she met CDR William Thomas Sr., while she worked at the Navy Ship Yard. They married February 3, 1947. With their 4 children they lived in San Diego, California, until William passed in 1968.

She returned to Bremerton where she later married Virgil Thorpe on 1978. She worked for the State of Washington in several different agencies before retiring in 1990 as a Lead Secretary.

She enjoyed time with her family and friends, along with music and loved serving the Lord. During the 70's & 80's they could be heard on KBLE and KGY. She was an active member of True Grace Church.

She is proceeded by her Husbands, her son Larry and her granddaughter Marissa.

She is survived by her son Bill Thomas (Jennifer) of Lacey, Grandson Will, Daughters Carol Roschewski and Marie Hargis, sister Joyce and brother Chester (Coleen) along with many more extended family.
