Deleane Thompson went to be with her beloved Lord on July 7, 2016. Daisy Deleane (Ritter) Thompson was born in Durham, Arkansas on January 29, 1926, to Arthur and Margarett (Johnson) Ritter. She lived the majority of her life in Rainier, Washington. She was married to James C. Thompson on June 1, 1944, and enjoyed 60 years of marriage before Jim's passing in 2004.
Deleane was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, as well as a foster mother to may children. Church was very important to her.
Deleane was predeceased by her husband James C. Thompson and son James P. Thompson; she is survived by her four daughters Barbara Thompson, Leslie Nyitray, Margarett Thompson, Darlene Pearsall, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Mills & Mills Funeral Home in Tumwater at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016. Viewing service will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
