It was such a privilege to know and work side by side with Bill on so many church projects and in fellowship groups.  Bill served on the church "Outreach" committee at the same time I did, so we enjoyed many projects together.  
Bill always was involved in the CROP Walk.    Our dog Luke had his own pledge envelope, and Bill, being the vet and animal lover that he was, always sponsored Luke.   
Bill was a thoughtful, caring person who served his church and community in so many ways.  Plus he was fun!
A life well lived!



I remember when Billy, my husband Gary, myself, and the Lady Intern at the United Churches, took the Youth  Group, including our teen children to the San Juan Islands. We took Bikes, camped and cooked outside! We all had a blast. That was when I got to know Billy better!

The last many months, I tried to see him at least once a month! It was such fun to share memories. He was so sharp! That gives me hope that I can stay sharp and enjoy my family and friends through my 80's.

I have many fond memories of both Bill and Dorothy from the years knowing them from United Churches of Olympia. Bill ran the sound system before I started and was a faithful volunteer for the soup kitchen as well as being our unofficial   photographer. Always had a kind smile and wonderful wisdom to share. 

I always enjoyed visits from Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Bill.  I have many fond memories of day trips to the Pacific ocean and Mt. Rainier that always included a picnics and good coffee.  We often met at Wagners Bakery for treats and coffee when he worked on the Capitol Campus.  We continued our coffee visits into the later years at Dancing Goats Coffee Shop.    Uncle Bill had such an impact on me as a child that I wrote a paper about him. I think it was 5th grade.  One of the sentences in the paper talked about how wonderful he was because he says "excuse me" when he burps.  I will cherish my memories of Uncle Bill and know that he is at peace with Aunt Dorothy.  

My mother, Heidi worked for Dr. Edmundson in the GA building. As a single  mother, she sometimes had to bring me to work. I remember how kind and funny Dr. Edmundson was. My sympathies are with his family for his passing . Please know that he is fondly remembered 40 years later.
